How ProxGrid Pty Ltd collects, uses and looks after the personal information you give us through this website.
Who we are
ProxGrid Pty Ltd ("ProxGrid", "we") is a Brisbane, Australia robotics company. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Questions about this policy go to contact@proxgrid.com.
What we collect, and why
- Enquiries and pilot applications (contact page): your name, email, and optionally your organisation, phone number and details about your site and work. We use these to reply to you and to discuss a pilot or purchase.
- Call-back requests: your name, phone number, a preferred call time and any job details you've entered. We use these to call you back.
- Quote requests (quote page): the job location you pin on the map, job details, any photos you upload, and your name, phone and email. We use these to estimate and quote the job.
- Technical information: when you submit a form or open a tracked link we send you, we record a one-way hashed version of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. We use these to prevent spam and abuse and, for tracked links, to see whether a link we sent was opened.
We only ask for what we need. You don't have to give us any information to browse the site.
Tracked links
Links we send in emails may go through a short proxgrid.com/r/… address. Opening one tells us that the link we sent you was used, and when. We don't use this to follow you across other websites.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We use these service providers to run the website, and they process information on our behalf:
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Supabase: database and file storage for quote requests, call-backs and uploaded photos.
- Formspree: delivers contact-page enquiries to our inbox.
- Resend: sends call-back notifications to our team by email.
- Google Maps: the map and address search on the quote page.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry, call-back and quote records for as long as we need them to deal with you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@proxgrid.com. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy as the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
